Research On Plan And Process Control Of Automobile New Product Development Project

In the environment of world economic downturn,China’s automobile industry has encountered unprecedented sales pressure,major automobile groups develop new products actively,who can develop new products as soon as possible to meet consumer’s demands,who has the opportunity to increase market share.Therefore,the progress management of new product research project has been paid more and more attention by automobile companies.Based on the theory of project progress management and the new product research project of Beijing Automobile Company,this paper establishes a set of schedule management scheme in line with the objective situation of the company.First it analyzes the problems existing in the new product development project.It mainly includes that the decomposition of the project activities not detailed enough,the logical relationship of the project activities is unreasonable and the estimation of the duration of the project activities is not accurate.Secondly,combined with the theory of project progress management,critical chain method is used to decompose the project work,and Gantt chart and critical path method are used to complete the optimization of the project plan.A reasonable project plan is the premise of ensuring the project cycle.It is necessary to strictly control the progress of the project implementation.through milestones evaluation,key point deliverable review,PLM system and QMS system we can control the actual progress,and ensure that the actual progress maintain consistency with the plan progress.In order to deal with all kinds of emergencies in the project process,the manager must analyze the factors affecting progress,and carry on the grade evaluation.The specific feasible measures must to be given to ensure that the project completes according to the plan.Finally,the paper summarizes the success and deficiencies in the progress management of the new product development project.Trough the optimization of progress management,the project cycle time was shorted greatly,new product entered the market on time.At the same time,the research results of this paper can be used to other projects in the company.
