In recent years,China's iron and steel enterprises have experienced the constraints of the national supply side institutional reform,de capacity and structural adjustment policies,and are facing the external challenges of international trade barriers and low product competitiveness.If iron and steel enterprises want to win in the fierce competition in the future,the most effective way is to improve their own performance management level,with scientific and efficient performance appraisal measures to optimize enterprise management,and ultimately promote the steady growth of economic benefits.In this paper,PY steel,the largest iron and steel enterprise in Wu'an area of Han Dan City,is taken as the research object,and its performance management system is optimized.Based on the current situation of PY iron and steel production and operation,on the basis of studying the relevant theories and methods at home and abroad,this paper finds out the problems existing in the current performance management of PY iron and steel by means of on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire survey and employee interview:the neglect of grass-roots staff training,the lack of scientific performance management system,and the lack of smooth communication and appeal channels.By using the method of key performance indicators and weight factor analysis table,the performance management system is optimized from three levels of enterprise,department and employee,and the weight is determined.The optimization scheme of performance management is designed to improve the overall performance management level of PY steel and promote the scientific and healthy development of the enterprise.Finally,through the optimization of the performance management process design,organization,culture,supervision and safeguard measures to ensure that the final optimized performance management system can be effectively implemented.
