Nowadays,logistics industry is in a period with vigorous development in China,the prospects are very broad.Transportation cost usually accounts for a large proportion of the total cost in logistics industry,which also indicates that transportation is a very important part of logistics activities.Enterprises often face transportation problems in the process of production and operation,and how to choose transportation mode is often a difficult problem for decision makers.L company is a famous supplier of auto parts,it's raw materials for production are mainly purchased from abroad,and transported to domestic factories for processing and production through different import transportation modes.With the fast development of business,the cost of import raw materials in L company has increased gradually,and the proportion of transportation cost in product cost has also increased.In 2015,L company's import raw material transportation cost accounted for 7.14% of the product cost,and in2018,L company's import raw material transportation cost accounted for 7.42% of the product cost.The company is committed to changing this condition.Under this background,by taking L company's business as the example,this paper studies shipper's transportation mode selection of import raw materials.This paper combines the industry background and development characteristics,and describes the current condition of L company's import raw material transportation,include the supply chain organization structure,the current situation of import raw material transportation business,the classification and decision-making basis of transportation mode,etc.It also analyzes the three major problems of transportation business,include low delivery rate,high transportation cost and high transportation risk.It is found that the most fundamental reason for these problems is the unreasonable decision of transportation mode.According to the characteristics of L company's import raw materials transportation,the author decided to adopt the comprehensive evaluation method to solve the transportation mode decision-making problem of L company.First of all,by referring to a large number of research literature and conducting investigation and interview,the author confirmed the transportation mode evaluation index system of import raw materials.Then in the determination of each index weight,the raw materials are classified according to the urgent level,and the subjective weight of each index is determined by questionnaire survey and AHP,then the final weight of the dimension is determined by entropy weight method.Then TOPSIS evaluation model is used to solve the problem.Finally,this paper takes one ticket actual import raw material transportation case as an example,then works out the best solution with this transportation mode,which demonstrates the model's operability and practical significance.
