Under the guidance of the great development strategy of the construction of the "Silk Road Economic Belt",cities in traffic corridor along the Silk Road Ecological Belt, the scale of the population, economy and society will be further expanded, the demand for resources will be further improved, the ecological pressure is increasing, and the limited ecological capital has become the city.Constraints that have to be considered in the process of city development. How to improve the utilization efficiency of ecological capital, maximize the output of urban development and minimize the input of ecological capital is a key problem that needs to be paid attention to cities in traffic corridor along the Silk Road Ecological Belt.At this time, through the correct evaluation of the ecological pressure caused by human activities to the city, the ecological carrying capacity provided by the city and the comprehensive development level of the city, the measurement of the ecological efficiency is quantified by quantifying the urban development output and the investment of ecological capital, which can not only describe and compare the ecological conditions and the comprehensive development level of the cities amang the cities. As well as the scientific basis for solving the above problems, will help to provide reference for improving the efficiency of ecological capital utilization and improving the relationship between development and ecology.18 prefectural cities along the "Chongqing-Sinkiang-Europe International Railway"railway were selected as the research samples, and the ecological footprint which represent the ecological capital utilization status is chosen as the index of the ecological capital investment. The urban development index which can display the urban development level from the multi dimension is used as the output index.and the ecological efficiency evaluation system is constructed from the two aspects of resource efficiency and environmental efficiency. The results show that the ecological footprint per capita and the ecological carrying capacity per capita of the cities in traffic corridor along the Silk Road Ecological Belt are low in the eastern part, high in the west payt. The cities in the Xinjiang have higher ecological carrying capacity and more ecological pressure.Ankang is the best ecological city in the cities in traffic corridor along the Silk Road Ecological Belt. And Ankang is the ecological surplus every year, the other cities are the ecological deficit every year.Ecological footprint per capita in the cities in traffic corridor along the Silk Road Ecological Belt is mainly composed of biological resources accounts and energy consumption accounts. The ecological carrying capacity per capita is mainly contributed by cultivated land and forest land. The city development index(CDI)of provincial capital cities and Chongqing is higher. The differences in infrastructure dimension, waste disposal dimension and urban output value dimension are large in each city, and the gap between the health dimension and education dimension is small. The resource efficiency and ecological efficiency of Tianshui,Lanzhou and Jiuquan are high, which indicates that these cities can obtain greater urban development output with less investment in ecological capital, and the environmental efficiency of Chongqing and Baoji cities is high.According to the above conclusions, suggestions in three aspects are put forward, there are reduce the ecological pressure, improve the ecological carrying capacity and improve the city development level,so as to realize the coordinated development of these cities'resources, economy and society.
