The arrival of the information age has strongly promoted the reform of educational informationization.As an educational type,the low learning interest and poor learning effect of students in secondary vocational education teaching are closely related to the teacher's teaching method.Because of its short and concise,prominent theme and other characteristics,micro-course is favored by the majority students and teachers in teaching.Based on this,this paper proposes to apply micro-course to the teaching of "Essentials of Genetics" in agricultural-related majors of secondary vocational schools.Under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences and constructivism learning theory,this study takes action research as the paradigm,adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire and others to carry out two rounds of action research,aiming to explore the impact of the micro-course production and application on students' learning interest and learning effect,and to put forward suggestions for the micro-course production and application in secondary vocational education teaching.In view of the current situation of Essentials of Genetics teaching,we determine the aspects of this action research and design and make micro-course to implement the first round of research.It is found that there are some problems needing to be solved in the action,such as choosing micro-course teaching content,designing and producting micro-course and the integrating it into classroom teaching.In the second round of action research,we focus on adjusting the material selection of micro-course and increasing students' participation in video making and classroom activity.And the implementation effect is evaluated according to the students' performance and feedback.After two rounds of action research,the application effect of micro-course is obvious.From the students' classroom observation,interviews,interest test and the test results show that students' learning interest and learning effect have been significantly improved.Finally,we get the classroom teaching flow chart of the application of micro-course in the new class,exercise class and recitation class,and this paper puts forward some suggestions on the design and application of micro-course.First is about the design and production of micro-course: 1.create a teaching situation,mobilize multiple intelligences;2.set questions to arouse students' thinking;3.enrich micro-class videos content,mobilize students' learning enthusiasm,provide a good viewing experience;4.increase the participation of students in the video,fully reflect the dominant position of students in micro-course learning;5.through the effective use of mind map,we can enhance the systematicness and organization of knowledge.Second is about the application of micro-course in teaching: 1.cooperate with video watching to strengthen the supervision of students' pre-class preparation,and put the preview effect into practice;2.repeat running many times to help students memorize repeatedly to achieve the goal of knowledge internalization and construction;3.combining with micro-course to carry out rich and colorful classroom activities to improve students' classroom participation.In summary,this study not only provides a practical reference for the application of micro-course in Essentials of Genetics teaching in secondary vocational schools,but also enriches the related research of information-based teaching.
