| Infrastructure construction plays an important role in promoting economic growth.Complete infrastructure construction has unblocked the flow of products and factors,strengthened economic ties between regions,and promoted regional economic growth through spillover effects.At the same time,infrastructure construction itself is also a kind of investment,which could directly stimulate social demand and drive the development of related industries,thereby promoting regional economic growth.After the reform and opening up,China has accelerated the investment and construction of infrastructure,and infrastructure construction has achieved a leap-forward development.The level of infrastructure construction has been continuously improved,and the total amount of some infrastructure has jumped to the forefront of the world.The continuous improvement of infrastructure has promoted the rapid growth of China’s economy and helped China become the world’s second largest economy.It should be noted that largescale infrastructure construction has also brought some problems such as redundant construction,advanced construction and government debt,which have affected the healthy development of the country’s economy and society to a certain extent.At present,China’s economy has shifted from a stage of high-speed growth to a stage of high-quality development,which has new requirements for economic development goals and increasing total factor productivity is also a priority.Therefore,study the effect of infrastructure construction to the total factor productivity,studying the effect of all kinds of infrastructure to the total factor productivity and its spatial spillover of the existence of the infrastructure construction of related policies for the government to provide some decision reference,to better play a role of infrastructure construction for the promotion of economic growth.First of all,this paper sorted out the related research on infrastructure and total factor productivity to further understand the current research status and ideas at home and abroad.After that,this paper introduces the current situation of China’s infrastructure construction from three aspects of transportation,communication and energy infrastructure,and analyzes the regional distribution of China’s infrastructure construction.Secondly,this paper compares the current mainstream total factor productivity measurement methods,this paper selects DEA-Malmquist index method to calculate and analyze the total factor productivity of all provinces in China.Then,this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of infrastructure construction on total factor productivity and holds that infrastructure construction has an impact on total factor productivity through technical efficiency,technological progress and scale efficiency.Finally,on the basis of constructing a 0-1 spatial adjacency matrix,an empirical analysis of the impact of infrastructure construction on China’s total factor productivity is carried out using spatial measurement methods.The main conclusions are as follows: First,China’s infrastructure construction has made some achievements,the total amount of all kinds of infrastructure is growing rapidly,but there are still regional differences,quality deficiencies and other problems.Second,China’s total factor productivity showed a trend of first decline and then rise,and the total factor productivity of each province had a significant spatial autocorrelation.Third,different types of infrastructure have different effects on China’s total factor productivity.Transportation infrastructure has a significant positive effect,but the spillover effect is not significant.Communication infrastructure has a significant negative impact,and its spillover effect is positive.Energy infrastructure has no significant effect on TFP,but its spillover effect is significantly negative.On the basis of the research conclusion,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for China’s infrastructure construction. |
