In recent years,China has paid more and more attention to environmental pollution,and realized that environmental pollution has an important impact on the transformation of the economic development pattern.The green development is based on the green growth model,and the green total factor productivity is the main driving force for transforming the economic development mode under the constraint of resource environment.The spatial difference of regional economic growth in China is obvious,and the study on the spillover effect and convergence of green total factor productivity can better understand the role of interregional factor flow,technical exchange and economic interaction in eliminating the differences in their respective economic development,and further eliminate market barriers between regions,promote common development of regional economy,facilitate the implementation of national green development and coordinated development strategy,and promote the sustained and stable development of China's economy.First measured the total factor productivity of green total factor in cities above our country,and the total factor productivity of green total factor showed a growth trend.The growth rate of the eastern cities was the highest,the lowest in the western region,and the growth was mainly due to the green technology progress.Then,the spatial spillover effect of green total factor productivity is empirically tested,indicating that there is a significant spatial correlation between the national GTFP under the three weight matrices.Under the geographical distance weight matrix,the level of foreign capital and the proportion of the second production will significantly promote the space overflow of GTFP,while the government fiscal expenditure will suppress the overflow of GTFP.Under the economic distance weight matrix,the traffic infrastructure,the level of foreign capital and the proportion of the two and three industries have significantly promoted the overflow of GTFP.Under the nested weight matrix,the medical condition,population density and foreign capital level significantly promote the overflow of GTFP,while government fiscal expenditure will suppress the overflow of GTFP.Finally,the convergence of the three dimensions of the population,the three regions and the five major urban agglomerations is empirically tested.The results show that there is no absolute convergence in the whole country and the three regions,but there is absolute convergence and the condition of the convergence.Whether it is the national,eastern and western regions or five major urban agglomerations,there are significant spatial absolute convergence and space conditions convergence,and the spatial spillover effect obviously promotes the convergence of green total factor productivity between adjacent cities.
