Research purpose: Objective: To explore the mechanism of exercise prescription to improve sleep quality in the elderly by studying the intervention of exercise prescription practice for 12 weeks,so as to provide effective methods and ways to improve sleep problems in the elderly,and also provide scientific theoretical basis for the promotion of exercise prescription.Research methods: 30 elderly people aged 60-75 years with sleep problems were recruited and selected by experimental method.They were divided into experimental group and control group by random grouping method.The experimental group participated in exercise prescription exercise,and the control group carried out daily life without any intervention.Before and after intervention,the subjects were tested with Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale,TCM Syndrome Score Scale and Anxiety Scale.Research result:After 12 weeks of exercise prescription intervention,there were significant differences in sleep quality,sleep time,sleep efficiency and daytime dysfunction(P<0.05).Before and after intervention,there was no difference in sleep quality index(P>0.05).According to the study of TCM syndrome index score,there was significant difference between the experimental group before and after intervention(P<0.05).Before and after intervention,the scores of TCM syndrome indexes in the control group increased slightly and were not significant(P>0.05).A total score study of anxiety scale before and after intervention found that the total score of anxiety in the experimental group was different after intervention(P<0.05).Participants do prescription exercises can improve anxiety.Subjects in the control group did not participate in any exercise,and the score of the control group was slightly increased after intervention,and there was no difference(P>0.05).There was no improvement in anxiety.Research conclusions: Exercise prescription exercise can improve the sleep quality of the elderly,and sleep quality and anxiety affect each other,exercise prescription for a long time can improve the anxiety of the elderly.Research recommendations: strengthen sleep knowledge education for the elderly,encourage the elderly to actively participate in physical exercise,deeply understand the benefits of physical exercise,especially the benefits of improving sleep quality.In-depth development of exercise prescription in poor sleep in elderly population,and then improve the quality of sleep in the elderly.At the same time to deepen the promotion of exercise prescription in different age groups.
