Purpose: By drawing on the energy consumption recommended by the American College of Sports Medicine to improve cardiovascular risk in middle-aged and elderly people, this study develops a personalized exercise prescription that meets the energy consumption characteristics of waltz dance in middle-aged and elderly women. Finally, through 12-week intervention, observe the improvement effect of lipid metabolism and cardiorespiratory fitness in this population and provides a certain experimental basis for its scientific exercise. Methods: Twenty-six middle-aged and elderly women aged 45-65 years with abnormal lipid metabolism and sedentary movements(not more than 3 times a week and less than 20 minutes each time)were recruited in the communities around Haidian District,Beijing, and randomly selected It was divided into the waltz dance exercise experimental group(n = 14)and the control group(n = 12)who did not participate in exercise. The intervention period of the experimental group was 12 weeks,3 days a week, and the Waltz dance training was performed for 105 minutes each time. The control group did not participate in any exercise to maintain the original state. The morphological index, vascular function index, blood lipid index, and cardiopulmonary endurance index before and after the intervention were used to reflect the subject's lipid metabolism and cardiopulmonary endurance before and after the intervention.Repeated measurement analysis of variance was used for the collected data, and the experimental results were presented in the form of mean ±standard deviation.Results:(1)After 12 weeks of waltz dance exercise: the body fat content, body fat percentage,BMI,and weight of the experimental group were significantly reduced(P <0.01),and the muscle content was not significantly changed.(2)The TG in the experimental group was significantly lower than before the intervention(P<0.05),and the HDL-C was significantly higher than that before the intervention(P<0.01);although the TC and LDL-C in the experimental group were significantly higher than before the intervention. It increased, but the increase was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).(3)The VO2max in the experimental group was significantly higher than that before the intervention(P<0.01).The maximum heart rate in the exercise group increased significantly compared with the control group(P<0.05).(4)There were no significant differences in systolic blood pressure, differential pressure, right ba PWV and left ba PWV,and right and left ABI in the experimental group.Conclusions:(1)The 12-week waltz dance exercise can reduce the weight and body fat content of middle-aged women aged 45-65 years, but the effect of increasing muscle content is not obvious.(2)The 12-week waltz dance exercise can significantly improve the blood lipid status of 45-65-year-old middle-aged and elderly women, and significantly improve the cardiopulmonary endurance of 45-65-year-old middle-aged and elderly women, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.(3)The12-week waltz dance exercise has no obvious effect on improving blood pressure and atherosclerotic arterial elasticity.
