Objective: to test the effect of Rumba exercise intervention on shoulder flexibility of college students,and to establish the practical value of Rumba exercise in improving shoulder flexibility of college students.Methods: This study mainly adopts the experimental method,taking 40 students in Baoding college and Beijing Sport University as subjects,including 30 female students and 10 male students.According to the gender average and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,daily exercise as usual.The participants in the experimental group were given one hour lombary exercise intervention twice a week for 12 weeks.The flexibility of the shoulder joint before and after the intervention was tested.The flexion,extension,abduction and adduction angles of the left and right shoulder joints before and after the intervention were analyzed to analyze the influence of lombary on the shoulder joint flexibility of college students.Results: 1.After 12 weeks of Lombard exercise intervention,the angle of flexion(189.8 ± 6.72 vs 180.65 ± 3.86,P < 0.01),extension(51.10 ± 6.09 vs 41.25 ±4.70,P < 0.01),abduction(187.20 ± 9.15 vs 178.75 ± 4.17,P < 0.01)of the left shoulder in the experimental group increased significantly,but the angle of adduction(39.65 ± 6.52 vs 37.65 ± 4.84,P > 0.05)did not increase significantly.The flexion(190.00 ± 7.36 vs 179.90 ± 4.61,P < 0.01),extension(51.10 ± 6.09 vs 41.25 ± 4.70,P< 0.01),abduction(188.7 ± 7.98 vs 178.40 ± 4.22,P < 0.01)and adduction(39.90 ±3.88 vs 37.70 ± 6.72,P > 0.05)angles of the right shoulder in the experimental group were significantly higher than those before the intervention.2.In the experimental group,the angle change rate of left shoulder joint in flexion(5.07 ± 3.68 vs-0.96 ± 3.23,P < 0.01),extension(21.82 ± 16.84 vs 4.80 ±15.41,P < 0.01),abduction(4.83 ± 6.79 vs 0.81 ± 3.06,P < 0.05)was significantly different from that in the control group,and the angle change rate of adduction(5.52± 13.22 vs 5.02 ± 13.37,P > 0.05)was not significantly different from that in the control group.In the experimental group,the angle change rate of flexion(5.67 ±4.68vs0.88 ± 3.86,P < 0.01),extension(25.17 ± 18.19vs4.29 ± 14.09,P < 0.01),abduction(5.80 ± 4.63vs0.76 ± 4.24,P < 0.05)of the right shoulder joint was significantly different from that of the control group,and the angle change rate of adduction(7.41 ± 15.60vs4.99 ± 14.14,P > 0.05)was not significantly different from that of the control group.Conclusion: 1.Rumba practice can improve the activity of shoulder joint(flexion,extension and abduction)of college students and improve the flexibility of shoulder joint.2.Rumba Dance Practice is the most targeted and effective way to improve the shoulder joint extension of ordinary college students.The improvement of shoulder flexion and abduction was the second,and the effect was similar.There was no significant improvement in shoulder adduction.
