In the future,China will face the problem of aging population, which will bring unprecedented burden to the domestic medical system. Therefore,we should actively recognize the decline of organ function caused by aging,so as to explore ways to delay aging.Aging can affect the decline of heart function in the elderly, leading to heart aging.Taijiquan exercise can delay the aging of the elderly. There are not many reports on the effect of Taijiquan exercise on heart aging. This project will be closely linked to the national health project strategic plan, recruiting 668 persons. After screening,388 persons are included in this study. They are divided into 102 young people(49/53),154 normal elderly people(77/77),132 Taijiquan elderly people(50/82).By means of echocardiography,we further explored the decline of cardiac function in the normal elderly with the increase of age,and observed the effect of Taijiquan exercise on the senility of heart in the elderly. The results showed that:(1)the risk factors of cardiovascular disease(CVD)in the normal elderly were significantly deteriorated compared with those in the young group(P < 0.05),which could increase the risk of cardiovascular disease caused by aging;(2)By exploring the effect of aging on the heart,it was found that the risk factors of cardiovascular disease(CVD)were significantly deteriorated compared with those in the young group(P < 0.05).Left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWD)was significantly thicker and E/A Ratio was significantly lower in the normal elderly group than in the young group, which was not in line with the range of E/A>1 in adults. It was an important index leading to the decline of diastolic function in the elderly and consequently to heart senility;(3)There was no significant change in left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in the three groups(P > 0.05),indicating that age and Taijiquan exercise had no significant effect on the left side of the elderly. There was no significant effect on ventricular ejection fraction;(4)Taijiquan exercise had a significant change in left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWD)of elderly men and E/A Ratio of elderly women compared with normal elderly people.CONCLUSION:(1)With the aging of the elderly, the heart function is also aging;and(2)Taijiquan exercise can delay the aging of the heart of the elderly.
