| Because of globalization and a significant increase in the use of the World Wide Web, designing an interactive website becomes vital. Many companies, businesses, and organizations are extending their work scope on the web. Websites are accessible around the world for people who have an internet connection. Therefore, website design has a huge importance in people's everyday and business lives. Since websites are used globally, designers should be respectful to all users' needs and cultural background. Considerations in respect to mood, feelings, and culture must be considered when making color selections when designing a website. In this paper, the design of websites which are used globally with the respect of the color is being evaluated. Thirty-seven users participated in this research to evaluate two websites; American Eagle Network and Ford Motor Company. |
