With the continuous development of economic globalization, for each country, the relative role of energy, transportation, communications and other infrastructure construction levels in international trade has become increasingly prominent. In order to further study the impact of infrastructure on international trade, this paper uses the gravitational expansion model as the research basis, and uses the income levels of different countries as the starting point.Focus on the impact of China,ASEAN 10 countries' energy, transportation, and communications infrastructure construction levels on intraregional export trade. This article includes the following five sections:The first chapter is the introduction. In the context of the continuous advancement of the "Maritime Silk Road" and the increasing importance of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the issue of infrastructure and foreign trade is studied. It provides strong conclusions on how to increase the potential of trade by advancing the construction of China-ASEAN infrastructure, and has certain theoretical and practical significance. This paper has combed a large amount of domestic and foreign literature, noting that the focus of scholars' research is often to prove the feasibility of the gravity model for analyzing international trade issues, and they continue to expand the gravity model to make it more complete;Or start from the "Belt and Road" region and study the impact of transportation and communications on trade. Therefore, this article chooses to take the national income level as the research angle to further expand the gravity model, which is necessary for research. Finally, based on the above analysis and review, find the innovation point of this article. The second chapter is a theoretical analysis of the impact of infrastructure construction on trade development. It mainly includes FDI trade substitution theory,FDI trade promotion theory,intra-industry trade theory, and trade cost theory, and analyzes the three major infrastructure constructions of energy, communications, and transportation that affect the development of international trade. The third chapter mainly introduces the current status of China-ASEAN intra-regional trade and the status of infrastructure construction. The current status of intra-regional trade is mainly described in terms of the total trade volume between China and ASEAN countries and specific country trade. The current status of infrastructure construction mainly analyzes the current status of the three major infrastructure constructions in China and ASEAN countries. Finally,it illustrates the status of infrastructure cooperation between China and the ten ASEAN countries. The fourth chapter is mainly based on the export trade and infrastructure construction data of countries in the China-ASEAN region from 1999 to 2018,and establishes a trade gravity-infrastructure model and panel data model. Then first analyzes the data results of 6 control variables, and finally focuses on Analyze the impact of the three major infrastructure constructions on export trade. The results show that sea transportation has huge advantages over land transportation, especially when the products produced are of a certain homogeneity, this advantage will be further expanded;when the homogeneity of trade products produced by a country is not strong, the attractiveness of trade complementarity It will greatly reduce the obstacles in terms of geography(distance, inland, etc.);although the three major infrastructures of transportation infrastructure, energy infrastructure, and communications infrastructure all have a positive role in promoting the export trade of exporting countries,Countries with different levels have different priorities for the three types of infrastructure when building infrastructure. Therefore, countries should have a certain focus when carrying out infrastructure construction: For low-income countries, they should focus more on energy facilities and communication facilities. The construction of high-income countries should focus on the construction of transportation facilities. The fifth chapter is the main conclusions and policy recommendations of this article. The main conclusions are as follows: First, the scale of the expansion of China-ASEAN bilateral trade volume shows a trend of first decrease and then increase, and China's trade cooperation with low-and middle-income countries of ASEAN has grown faster.Second, the infrastructure levels of the ten ASEAN countries differ significantly. The third is that sea transportation has huge advantages over land transportation, especially when the products produced are of certain homogeneity, this advantage will be further expanded.Conversely, when the homogeneity of trade products produced by a country is not strong, the attractiveness of trade complementarity will greatly weaken the obstacles in geography and other aspects(such as distance, inland and other factors).Fourth, the three major infrastructures of the exporting countries in the China-ASEAN region, such as transportation infrastructure, energy infrastructure, and communication infrastructure, have a positive role in promoting the export trade of exporting countries, but the foundation is targeted at countries with different income levels. The priority order of the three facilities is also different when the facilities are constructed. The infrastructure that should be given priority in low-income countries is communication facilities and energy facilities, while the infrastructure that should be given priority in high-income countries is transportation infrastructure. The main policy recommendations include: First, the communication infrastructure and energy infrastructure construction that low-income countries should pay more attention to.Second,high-income countries should further strengthen transportation infrastructure.Thirdly,China should strengthen trade with ASEAN high-income countries.Fourth, further increase the emphasis on maritime transport.Fifth, improve scientific and technological innovation and reduce the homogeneity of export products.
