Research On The Impact Of Trade Facilitation On Guizhou's Export Trade To ASEAN

With the rapid development of bilateral and multilateral economic and trade cooperation,the degree of global trade liberalization has been increasing.Tariff barriers and non-tariff barriers are gradually decreasing,and the impact on international trade is getting smaller and smaller.However,the factors that hinder international trade still exist and seriously affect the smooth flow of trade.The hot topic of trade facilitation has attracted close attention from governments,scholars and international organizations.The trend indicates that the direction of international trade reform in the future is to simplify international trade customs clearance procedures,international trade procedures,etc.,in order to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Since the reform and opening up,Guizhou's foreign trade has experienced rapid growth.Guizhou has major countries and regions for trade,of which ASEAN has become the largest trading partner of Guizhou Province.In January 2010,China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was formally established.Guizhou took advantage of this opportunity to further develop economic and trade relations with ASEAN.Therefore,studying the trade facilitation situation between Guizhou and ASEAN is crucial to the trade development between Guizhou and ASEAN.This paper summarizes the domestic and international research on trade facilitation,and on the basis of studying the current situation of trade and trade facilitation between China and ASEAN,measures the level of trade facilitation in Guizhou and ASEAN,and establish a trade facilitation indicator system and establish an indicator system consisting of 5 first-level indicators and 13 second-level indicators.The method adopted is a comprehensive evaluation method of MDI combination weighting.Based on the measured results of trade facilitation levels,a comparative analysis was conducted to find out the influencing factors of Guizhou's export trade benefits to ASEAN.On this basis,the relevant data of Guizhou-ASEAN export trade from 2012 to 2015 were selected to establish a gravity model,and the conclusion that trade facilitation has a significant positive correlation with Guizhou's export trade to ASEAN is concluded.Finally,based on the goal of improving the level of trade facilitation,it proposes countermeasures such as strengthening infrastructure construction and optimizing the customs environment.
