Analysis Of The Impact Of ASEAN Infrastructure Construction On China-ASEAN Trade

From 1991 China and ASEAN formally dialogue,to 2010 China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was established,the relations between China and ASEAN has rapid development.Since November 2002,China and ASEAN signed the "China-ASEAN Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement" to China-ASEAN Free Trade Area formally established trade volume had increased by nearly 5 times.With the reduction of tariffs in the free trade area,the role of trade liberalization in promoting bilateral trade is also declining.China and ASEAN bilateral trade volume declined in 2015.With the development of economic and trade,the level of infrastructure has lagged behind the needs of trade development.Infrastructure construction has become one of the important factors affecting bilateral economic and trade development.The governments are concerned about how to promote the development of trade.China has provided new ideas and opportunities for ASEAN infrastructure,as China's "the Belt and Road" strategy.To promote the ASEAN countries 'infrastructure will create a new era of economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.This article draws on the definition of the infrastructure by domestic and foreign scholars.On the basis of studying the trade development between China and ASEAN,this paper analyzes the impact of infrastructure on trade.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background and research significance of ASEAN's infrastructure construction on China-ASEAN trade.This paper summarizes the domestic and foreign research on the impact of infrastructure on economic and trade.The second chapter;the relevant concepts of infrastructure and trade development are summarized.The third chapter mainly introduces the infrastructure of ASEAN,the development of trade between China and ASEANs,Analyzes the problems about infrastructure and trade.Chapter four,Through the gravitational model,analysis the transport infrastructure and communications infrastructure.We found that interconnection on land can effectively promote the development of trade.Because the geographical environment,ASEAN can be divided into land countries and island countries.The development of transport infrastructures may have different effects on the ASEAN land and ocean countries.We compare ASEAN land and national economic infrastructure.Finally,we use the gravitational model to measure the trade potential of China and ASEAN.We found that most countries have great trade potential with China.Chapter five,We summed up the challenges of infrastructure construction and make suggestions on how to promote the infrastructure and trade.
