In 2002,the construction of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was officially launched.By the completion of CAFTA in 2010,and the signing of the CAFTA upgraded strategic cooperation agreement in 2019,the level of China-ASEAN regional economic integration has continued to increase, and bilateral economic and trade cooperation has become more close. The ASEAN Master Plan for Interoperability and China's "Belt and Road" initiative have invariably focused on infrastructure construction as a priority. This means that China and ASEAN development strategies have a good strategic docking foundation.Infrastructure interconnection and cooperation is not only an important part of the production capacity cooperation between the two sides, but also an inevitable result of the development of economic and trade relations between the two sides. The first chapter of this paper introduces the current background of China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation, strategic integration, and participation in the globalization of labor division, clarifies the significance of this research, and proposes research ideas and methods.Sort out and review existing research results and literature at home and abroad. The second chapter expounds the theoretical foundations of infrastructure and economic and trade development, such as the theory of regional economic integration, the theory of industrial agglomeration, and the theory of space spillover effects. The first section of Chapter III studies the current status of economic and trade development between China and ASEAN countries, and finds that the total volume of China-ASEAN bilateral trade has increased steadily, but there are large differences between countries. In terms of trade dependence,ASEAN 's dependence on China 's imports and exports is greater than China 's dependence on ASEAN 's imports and exports. The second section introduces the current status of infrastructure construction in some ASEAN countries, and conducts a horizontal comparative study based on the relevant data of the Global Competitiveness Index Report. It is found that there is a wide gap in the level of infrastructure among ASEAN countries.Based on relevant project cooperation and the signing of policies and agreements, the third section summarizes the current status of China-ASEAN infrastructure interconnection and interoperability;Chapters 4 is empirical research section,it focuses on transportation, energy, and communications and establish the relevant indicator system of infrastructure connectivity in three aspects, construct a gravity model, select relevant panel data of China and ASEAN countries from 2008 to 2017,and empirically study the impact of infrastructure on China-ASEAN trade. Then we follow the relevant data before and build a gray correlation model to verify the correlation between infrastructure interconnection and trade volume. The research results show that:(1)Highway,aviation,and port infrastructure in transportationinfrastructure, energy infrastructure represented by per capita power consumption, and communications infrastructure represented by the number of Internet users per 100 people all contribute to China-ASEAN bilateral trade. To positive promotion.(2)The promotion effect of transportation infrastructure interconnection on bilateral trade is as follows: air transport> road transport >maritime transport, and different infrastructures have different degrees of bilateral trade relations with China. For example, for the Philippines,Singapore, and Thailand, the port infrastructure has a high degree of correlation with China's bilateral trade volume. For the four countries of Indonesia,Singapore,Myanmar, and Cambodia, railway infrastructure is important for bilateral trade with China.Has a greater impact.Highway infrastructure also plays a more prominent role in bilateral trade between the Philippines,Malaysia,Cambodia and China than several other types of infrastructure.
