Asset management business is one of the four core businesses of securities companies.In top international investment banks,asset management business has become the largest revenue incoming which shares more than 35%.Simply,asset management business is "Manage your wealth under your trust",besides the financial services for capital customers,also providing financing solutions for many financing customers.Asset management business has a complete set of functions and involves a wide range of business types.It is an innovative business for securities companies to get rid of the inherent channel business and take investment and financing capabilities as the core competitiveness.However,due to the complexity of the asset management business itself,how to evaluate the performance of the asset management business and how to improve the competitiveness of the asset management department through performance appraisal have always been the focus point of the industry.At present,China Dragon Securities Asset Management Headquarters adopts a management mode of coordinated development of multiple business departments at the front desk and unified operation on middle and back offices.In this paper,taking each secondary division of front,middle and background department under the asset management headquarters as the research object,by means of the guidance of theoretical knowledge,through questionnaire survey and interview,We have analyzed the existing performance appraisal system of methods,indicators,implementation process and results application.It conclude out currently,there are quite few problems in existing performance appraisal system of the asset management headquarters,such as limited connection between the appraisal indexes and the business strategic development goals,incomprehensive appraisal indexes and methods,unprecise implementation process of the appraisal,and unscientific application of the performance appraisal results.Through the analysis and understanding of the deficiencies,combined with the actual responsibilities of each secondary department,by means of the KPI assessment method and 360 degree assessment method,we have reorganized and improved the assessment indicators,and reformed a more scientific,reasonable and fair performance assessment system through the optimization of the implementation process of performance assessment and the application of performance assessment results;at the same time,from the perspective of organization,system,culture,technology and so on,the corresponding guarantee measures also been put forward for the practical implementation of the performance appraisal program.
