With the continuous improvement of China's securities market,competition among securities companies has become increasingly fierce.Branches,as an important part of securities companies,are the main source of income for securities companies.At present,the branches of securities companies are mainly responsible for marketing-related businesses such as product sales,investment consulting,and customer account opening.They are an energy source for securities companies to achieve their own development and an important window for enterprises to display their images and establish a good image.Therefore,the effective management of branches is one of the key tasks for all securities companies every year.At present,securities companies' management of branches is mainly realized through two aspects: human resource management and performance management.Human resources management is mainly reflected in personnel appointments,ensuring that the managers of branches can manage and control the organization in accordance with the overall regulations of the headquarters.Performance management emphasizes the management and control of branch business and ensures the branch's business specifications and business revenue.In actual situations,the performance management of branches mainly focuses on performance evaluation,and the performance and management of branches are comprehensively judged through assessment methods,which serves as an incentive and supervision role.Performance appraisal and human resources management are two sharp edges of managing a branch office,performance appraisal can ensure the sustainability of the organization and determine the appointment of personnel;human resource management can ensure the stable development of the company through the deployment of personnel.Therefore,performance evaluation,as the basis of branch management,has played a vital role in the overall development of securities companies.This article takes S Securities Company's performance evaluation system for branches from 2013 to 2019 as the research object.It starts from the three aspects of evaluation indicator setting,performance content setting,and various formulas for calculating indicators.Based on the actual situation,it analyzes the rationality of the current performance evaluation system and existing problems of S securities company.The study found that the performance evaluation at this stage has performance indicators that match the actual content,which can ensure the healthy growth of revenue and the relative rationality of enhancing the competitiveness of various institutions,which is more in line with the current development status of S Securities.At present,the performance evaluation system of S Securities Company is highly integrated with the actual business,which can play a certain role in improving the performance of branches.However,there are still some disadvantages,such as lacking process evaluation indicators,lacking individual difference indicators,and forward-looking target setting.On this basis,if we want to further improve the performance management system,we believe that we can optimize the current performance evaluation by adding some assessment indicators,strengthening individual performance outstanding rewards,and strengthening target value management methods.Among them,the addition of some assessment indicators mainly increases the process volume indicators and is reflected through management assessment methods.Strengthening individual performance outstanding rewards can be optimized by adjusting the individual assessment upper limit scores and individual assessment rewards.The assessment of target value management needs to be market-based.Focusing on changes,referring to the development of competitors,combined with its own potential user groups,the overall assessment method of staging management is used to further ensure that the various branches of S Securities Company can pass the performance evaluation to achieve healthy internal competition and ensure steady growth of overall performance.
