N supermarket chain company, Referred to as N company, is in the transition from traditionally administrative management to scientific Human Resources Management. Corporate headquarters as a force at the core of the company and the promoters of the work, to become the key force to complete the N company strategic objectives. How to enable the performance appraisal system to match the business aims are the significant issue for the company.In this paper, the object selected Beijing headquarters’employees, use document analysis, data collection, field visits and survey methods to collect data and information, and use statistical analysis methods for data analysis, aimed at the investigation and analysis of KPI-based performance appraisal of the present situation, find out the essence of the problem encountered by the performance appraisal, combined with the development of the company’s strategic objectives, initially to explore a framework of key performance indicators for different types of business employees, and explore effective countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the performance appraisal system of N corporate headquarters, which enhance the company’s management level.Through a literature review of research and field research and interviews, and hypothesis proposed in this paper and on this basis design and distribute questionnaires. Then Use of EXCEL software SPSS and by using descriptive analysis and factor analysis and other methods to analyze the questionnaire data, verified the basic assumptions.Research conclusions include:employees have the need of Optimize Performance appraisal, Performance appraisal optimization is necessary; The use of tools in the company KPI headquarters have applicability; Verify the leading KPI existence, and using Factor analysis method in accordance with the value of the factor, the leading22KPI is divided into financial, internal operations, external marketing, the five levels of adverse effects on employees, as well as external environmental impact in general conformity with the corporate vision; Finally, on this basis to provide a reasonable solution to make it More in line with the practical situation and the needs of employees.
