A Study On The Countermeasures Of Rural Tourism Development In Fengshun County,Guangdong Province

Rural tourism,a popular leisure lifestyle,has sprung up in recent years.Formed by the combination of agriculture and tourism,rural tourism,has already become an important part of the tourism.On one hand,rural tourism can satisfy people's desire to get close to nature and enjoy idyllic countryside so as to gain relaxation;on the other hand,it also serves the domains of agriculture,rural areas and farmers,promoting the development of rural areas and accelerating communication between urban and rural areas.Hence,more and more people living in urban and rural areas are keen on this fashionable,low-carbon lifestyle.The proposal for the 13 th five-year plan clearly pointed out that we must vigorously develop rural tourism,adhere to the direction of characteristic and market-oriented development,and further promote healthy sustainable development of the rural tourism.Therefore,the research on the development of rural tourism is of great significance.For this purpose,starting out by the relevant research results and theories of rural tourism and sustainable development in domestic and foreign documents,this paper selects Fengshun County,Guangdong Province,a typical rural area located in eastern Guangdong as the research object,which makes analysis regarding the distribution and current developmental situation of its rural tourism resources through a comprehensive survey of rural tourism resources in Fengshun County.In this thesis,it adopts the ways of questionnaire surveys and interviews to grasp the relevant information on the rural tourism development plan and current status,and sort out the factors and existing problems that affects the development of rural tourism in Fengshun County so as to dig out the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of rural tourism as entering the era of high-speed rail.Established in the development bases and characteristics of local rural tourism,this thesis suggests development thoughts of practical value and a series of effective development measures and suggestions,in order to raise the level of rural tourism development,achieve sustainable development and further enhance county economic development.The research findings are as follow: the resources of rural tourism are abundant and its development has begun to take shape;with the support of three levels of policy and planning from province,city and county,convenient location and transportation,diversified cultural tourism resources,huge development potential are also the immense advantages of the development of rural tourism of Fengshun County.The survey results indicate that the development of rural tourism in Fengshun County is currently supported by hot springs and high-speed rail,however,there are still existing following problems and difficulties: the government's scientific planning has not been implemented in time;there is shortage of unified standard deployment and management mechanism;the service system is unsound;the supporting facilities for tourism services are imperfect;lacking of practical and effective means of marketing and promotion,unreasonable individual development positioning,and tourism resources depending greatly on seasons are also the problems and so on.In view of the existing problems,this thesis proposes corresponding countermeasures: Strengthening the guidance of development in giving play to policy advantages,overall planning and deployment,improving rural tourism management mechanisms,and constructing a service system;enhancing the driving force for the development of rural tourism in Fengshun County in terms of expanding publicity,building up brands,launching special rural tourism products,improving infrastructure,and achieving the development of rural tourism with different characteristics throughout the year.
