As the rapid development of regional economy,ecological system takes an increasingly important part,ecological innovation has gradually become a hotspot of ecological system research as well.Many enterprises in the ecosystem gradually fall into the "innovator’s dilemma" in the process of innovation,resulting in a high failure rate of the ecosystem.However,as an interdependent participant network,innovation in the ecosystem depends not only on the enterprises themselves,but also on the joint efforts of other members of the innovation ecosystem.Market,strategy,organization,culture and routine constitute the five non-technical elements in the enterprise innovation ecosystem,and the innovation ecosystem fully guarantees the support of the non-technical elements needed for the success of technological innovation.It is an outstanding problem in theory and practice to argue the advantages and disadvantages of the network routines in the innovation ecosystem to the innovation ecological performance.Based on the stability and variability of network routines and the theories of tournaments,this study attempts to reveal for the first time the relationship between network routines and innovation ecological performance of innovation ecosystem from both horizontal and vertical directions,and the network routines have different influences on ecological performance.Dependency relationship is the basis of the function of routines,as a special situation to promote feedback,design iteration and reinforcement learning,transaction dependence of different types will show the difference of resource and capacity sharing,and will become an important factor affecting the relationship between convention and ecological performance.Therefore,this study integrates the double-edged effect of network routines,makes a new explanation for the relationship between network routines and innovation ecological performance in the innovation ecosystem from the perspective of supply and demand,and further investigates the changing rules under different dependent relationship situations.On the basis of combing and analyzing the previous research results,this study preliminarily explored the mechanism of network routines on innovation ecological performance and proposed the initial hypothesis.Then this study based on business listing of high technology industry park and science and technology innovation ecological city,distribute 650 questionnaires and recover 305 valid questionnaires of those eco-chain enterprises,using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis to verify the obtained data,factor test and common method deviation factor analysis were carried out with Amos22.0,using SPSS24.0 empirical analysis to test the main effect of the formation of network routine on the innovation ecological performance of enterprises with competitive and cooperative relationship.Above this,it further focuses on the transaction dependence,discriminates the regulatory effect of the transaction dependence relationship,and makes a more in-depth and detailed analysis on the influence mechanism between network routines and innovation ecological performance.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between network routine and horizontal innovation ecological performance,which has a positive impact on vertical innovation ecological performance.This shows that high or low network routines are not necessarily conducive to the improvement of innovation ecological performance,and the relatively stable innovation behavior and cooperative norm consensus caused by network conventions will focus on different purposes.Sequential dependence and cyclic dependence have different regulating effects on the main effect:The higher the sequential dependence is,the smoother the inverted u-shaped relationship between network routines and horizontal innovation ecological performance will be,and the greater the promotion effect of network routine on vertical innovation ecological performance is.However,the higher the cyclic dependence is,the more obvious the inverted U-shaped relationship between network routine and horizontal innovation ecological performance is,the steeper the curve is,and the smaller the promotion effect is with vertical innovation ecological performance.The significance of this study lies in shifting the research object from the core enterprise to the ecological chain enterprise,and from the ecological perspective,it is divided into two dimensions to interpret innovation performance and integrate the role of network routines.This paper gives a new explanation to the existing debate on the relationship between network routines and innovation performance from the perspective of ecological innovation and makes up for the deficiency of empirical research in the existing ecosystem research.The variable of transaction dependence is introduced as a relationship element,which covers the direct or indirect two-way information flow between enterprises,and is helpful for a deeper understanding of the relationship between routines and innovation ecological performance from the micro network node level.Finally based on the empirical research conclusion,This study describes in more detail the mechanism and constraint of network routine on innovation activities in the ecosystem,propose how to communicate and cooperate with eco-chain enterprises and obtains important management enlightenment in ensuring the improvement of innovation ecological performance,that is,enterprises should construct management patterns of different transaction relations according to their own development stage and status and points out that the shortage of this study. |
