| In today’s society,issues such as ecological environmental pollution and energy shortages have become increasingly prominent,and the pressure on companies to face international and domestic competition has become increasingly severe.In this context,ecological innovation has become an important choice for achieving sustainable economic development and improving economic performance.The theory of corporate eco-innovation has become one of the academic hotspots in today’s society,and it has been increasingly focused on by entrepreneurs and government agencies.The cultivation of corporate eco-innovation capabilities will not only help improve the competitiveness of enterprises,allow enterprises to obtain green benefits,but also contribute to the long-term development of the enterprise.Strengthening the enterprise’s ecological innovation capability is of great significance in promoting the green transformation of enterprises and further achieving economic sustainable development in macroeconomics.This paper through the research on the spatial correlation of eco-innovation variables of industrial enterprises and the performance of eco-innovation,enriches the theoretical research on eco-innovation,formulates targeted policy recommendations,guides corporate development practices,and provides theoretical support for regional economic development.The existing literature mainly focuses on the relationship between ecological innovation and performance,the impact of government regulation on ecological innovation,and the relationship between ecological innovation and sustainable development.However,there are the following deficiencies:(1)The concept of ecological innovation is blurred,and the connotation of ecological innovation lacks consistency.(2)Scholars tend to research eco-innovation related research from the perspective of enterprises and industries,and rarely involve research from the national and international levels;(3)Some scholars explore the characteristics of innovation from the perspective of spatial spillovers,and rarely study the input and output indicators of ecological innovation inter-complex spatial association.Traditional innovation research focuses on innovation performance,ignoring the spatial relevance of innovation input-output economic indicators.In fact,the company’s innovative production activities are very complex dynamic development processes that can be examined from the perspective of the spatial relevance and performance of eco-innovation economic indicators.First of all,this paper uses the province-level data of industrial enterprises above designated size from 2006 to 2015 as research samples.investment indicators include R&D expenditures,R&D personnel’s full-time equivalents,new product development funds,and industrial introduction and digestion and absorption costs.The corresponding output indicators include the number of invention patents,new product sales,industrial output,and environmental comprehensive index.Secondly,this paper uses space gravity formulas to construct input and output relationship matrix to further explore its density,centrality,and core condensed group.Then,this paper uses the factor analysis model to calculate the ecological innovation performance of industrial enterprises in 30 provinces and cities(except Tibet)from 2006 to 2015 and decomposes them into traditional innovation performance and ecological environment.Finally,this paper puts forward corresponding policy recommendations based on comprehensive social network analysis and factor analysis,aiming to provide reference for the improvement of corporate eco-innovation efficiency.The research conclusions of this paper show:(1)During the inspection period,some provinces and cities in the eastern region are closely related to the input and output of related provinces and cities and are in a central vantage point in the network map;some provinces and cities is in the central region inpartial years with associated provinces.The city’s input and output are closely linked and are in a central favorable position in the network;the economic indicators of the provinces and cities in the western region are relatively isolated,and there are almost no related links with the surrounding provinces and cities.(2)During the sample period,the overall performance of industrial enterprises ’ecological innovation has been on the rise.With the adjustment of national policies,the growth rate has declined.(3)The overall performance of industrial enterprises in eco-innovation is severely differentiated.The overall performance of the eastern region is the highest,followed by the middle,and the lowest in the west. |
