Research On Warehouse Management Optimization For L Company

With the development of information technology,modern logistics management has played an important role in the company.Warehouse management is the process of coordinating the incoming goods,the subsequent storage and tracking of the goods,and finally,the distribution of the goods to their proper destinations.Through the warehouse management system(WMS),manager facilitate management in their daily planning and controlling the utilization of available resources,to move and store materials into,within,and out of warehouse.And to ensure that the material information is transmitted accurately and instantly.This study introduces the background and significance of the research and describes the development history of the theory upon warehouse management internationally and locally,and introduces the research and frame.The paper also explains the executive steps of the business Process Reengineering(BPR)theory briefly.Base on BPR knowledge,taka L company warehouse problem as example.Firstly understand the general situation of the enterprise,and analyze the storage management problems through fishbone diagrams.In the study,focus on the incoming quality control process and material distribution process.After analyzing the problems in the two processes,apply a BPR model including five factors of organization,function,limitation,source management and information technology to analyze business Process.Finally point out the results of the research and make a conclusion.
