Warehousing refers to the use of warehouse and related facilities for storage andkeeping of items. Warehouse management in traditional material circulation field or in theprocess of modern logistics activities are occupying very important position. It is one of theimportant link of the circulation of commodities, and the important pillar of logisticsactivities.In this paper, the selection of warehouse samples is J company warehouse, whosestorage area is about1500square meters though, and it has various modern facilitiesequipment and has implemented SAP.The daily warehouse work is regular, but with theconstantly increasing demand of customer for logistics service, problems about logisticswarehouse and inventory of warehouse management also appear, for instance, space layoutis not reasonable, inventory utilization rate is lower, operating processes is not enoughsmoothly and warehouse operators work inefficiently and the warehouse managementsystem can’t meet customers’needs and other problems.According to the above problem, this paper considers the aspects of warehousemanagement for further comprehensive analysis. The paper uses the theory of warehousemanagement and the practical analysis method of warehouse management to put forwardopinions and the suggestion on loading and unloading operation process and the layout ofthe warehouse, warehouse operation system optimization, and connecting with the actualbusiness process, warehouse management information system is developed with especialEIQ analysis module, a unique fast printing express bill module, generating synopticpicking list module and managing maintenance service module. After the Optimizationscheme, overall layout is more reasonable, warehouse storage’s efficiency has greatly beenimproved, operating costs have been reduced, and J company warehouse storage’s actualproblems have been solved.
