As one of the major marine provinces in China,Fujian Province has a coastline of more than 3000 kilometers,which is slightly inferior to Guangdong Province.There are more than 120 harbors,6 deep-water harbors and more than 1000 islands in Fujian Province.Seafood resources are extremely abundant.This unique natural resource advantage also derives small workshops with seafood as the basic characteristics.With the development of small seafood workshops,the problem of seafood quality is more prominent,even threatening the health of the people.Therefore,small seafood workshops should also become the key regulatory object.This paper takes Shishi,which has 307 small seafood workshops,as the research area,and takes Shishi’s small seafood workshops as the research object,uses questionnaire to understand the supervision status of Shishi’s small seafood workshops,and combs the current situation from five aspects: supervision team,funds input,supervision mode,supervision execution and supervision efficiency,using government supervision principles.On the theory of public interest,combined with the questionnaire survey,it is found that there are some problems under the supervision of small seafood workshops in Shishi City,such as weak supervision team,limited investment,traditional supervision methods,poor supervision execution and inefficient supervision.This paper analyses deeply the causes of these problems from the theory of government supervision and public interest,such as insufficient resources guarantee,outdated supervision concept,single supervision mode,difficult operation of punishment,the propaganda is not enough,and so on.On the basis of learning from the supervision of small seafood workshops in Rongcheng City,the paper finally puts forward some suggestions for safety supervision of small seafood workshops in line with the actual situation of Shishi City: increasing investment,strengthening team building,optimizing supervision methods,actively rectifying and upgrading,and mobilizing various forces.
