Research On Equipment Reliability Management Of Nantong KIDE Chemical Industry

Chemical companies belong to high-tech production enterprises,while highlighting their characteristics of continuous and high-quality production that puts high demands on the reliability of the equipment to enterprises.Successful high-tech industries such as American Boeing,German BASF who puts forward high requirements for equipment reliability as one important business strategy.Equipment reliability has always been the top priority in the research of equipment management in large enterprises all over the world.A lot of research work has been done and some achievements and breakthroughs have been made in this field.At the same time,the reliability of equipment management to chemical enterprises is relatively late compared to other industries.The chemical industry has always been one of the pillar industries of the powerful countries,playing a pivotal role in the national GDP.The characteristics of its products,the requirements for equipment,The impact on the environment determines the importance that the industry attaches to equipment reliability management.Through the on-the-spot investigation of KIDE’s plant in Nantong,the author identifies the main risk and monitoring scheme based on RCM,and combines with the interview of the plant managers and the introduction of FMECA as well,aiming to better determine the equipment operation and evaluate its equipment reliability.This paper reviews the related research on equipment management and reliability in China and abroad,including theory,practice and countermeasures.It analyzes the current situation of equipment management of Nantong KIDE Chemical and puts forward many problems in the current equipment reliability management of Nantongfactory,emphasizing on real-time condition monitoring and maintenance,quality of maintenance,and equipment monitoring information construction system as well.The author puts forward some suggestions for improving the reliability management of equipment in Nantong KIDE.According to the current situation of the plant,the equipment maintenance mode is proposed based on the principles of reliability,safety and enterprise economy.Secondly,the author suggests to continue strengthening the real-time monitoring of equipment status and maintenance countermeasures.After that,the paper studies Boeing’s work standards for equipment monitoring and maintenance,and specified the company’s procedures.Finally,the author believes that informatization plays a vital role in equipment management,and uses PIMS,ERP,and RCM to further enhance the intelligence of equipment information management.
