This paper first analyzes the existing domestic and foreign power generation equipment reliability research, the research on the reliability of power generation equipmenthas experienced three stages in China, the first is the statistical analysis of the reliability index stage, after more research and development to the traditional reliability model analysis stage, the power market is the next stage of reliability analysis. Then the research situation and theory of the three stages are compared. The new model that should build the reliability cost of power generation equipment can be balanced with the reliability benefit. Then, the reliability data of the complete equipment or units are acquired, and the reliability evaluation model is established. According to the reliability evaluation model, the reliability growth model is built, and the influence factors are summarized.In electric power industry, the reliability of power generation equipment is an important performance index, which has a great impact on the industrial profit margin, which involves the entire field of power plant production, from management decision to equipment manufacturing, from scientific research training to building construction. After the continuous discovery problem, solve the problem, reflect the problem, from the sum of the power generation equipment reliability quantitative assessment criteria, find out the power generation equipment reliability measures. In this paper, the factors affecting the reliability of power plant power plant are analyzed, and the main influencing factors are found out, and the relevant measures are put forward to improve the reliability of power plant.
