After joining in the World Trade Organization, China is going with the tideway of the global economy all the world. The company of China will compete with the transnational corporation and search after development in domestic and international markets. As one of the important component of the Company Management, Equipment Management is also need to be developed. In order to reduce the cost of the plant and reflect the economic effect of the Equipment Management, the company should reform the Equipment Management system, create and adopt a new Equipment Management situation.Production is the base of development. Equipment is the foundation of production. So Equipment Management is the most fundamental work. We should put it on the top of other works. The technical performance of the plant has direct relation to the quality of products. It will also affect production cost and economic effect.Through a deep investigation and study of the powerhouse of JiNanJuanYanchang, this article points out some shortcoming and weakness of the Equipment Management , Maintenance System , framework of organization and personal administration in this house witch can not fit in with the development of the modernized enterprises.So this article studies the type and characteristic of the equipment in this powerhouse, and then points out a new Equipment Management which centers on reliability and total normative productive maintenance . On this basis, this article points out the way of status monitoring , malfunction test and analysis in order to increase the equipment reliability.
