Talent, the core competitive advantage of a company, has been attached great importance by more and more companies. The famous management scientist Welch named cash flow, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement as the three major elements of business success.According to a survey conducted by Aon Hewitt,7,000 listed companies say they will see significant financial returns if the number of engaged employees is greater than 72%.Meanwhile,every 5%increase in employee engagement will bring 3%returns on profit. Thus,it's critically important for companies to turn human capital into profit.MCD's is a chain catering enterprise that owns over 2200 restaurants in China.A solid talent base and an excellent staff team are MCD's core competence.According to statistics,post-90 employees take up to 30%of total employees at MCD.This number will increase as the company continues to grow.We can say post-90 employees are the core of MCD's development. In addition,MCD's employee engagement level is closely related to business performance.Well-engaged employees could bring better business performance and increased profit returns.Under such context, this paper tries to study driving forces of post-90 employee engagement by analyzing current situations and researching existing theories and literature reviews. It aims to increase the level of post-90 employee engagement and bring better business performance to MCD.As the main body of this paper,Chapter 3 analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of post-90 employee engagement,as well as deficiencies. In Chapter 4,we make assumptions and create a model, based on which we found the influencing factors through linear regression.Based on MCD's current situation and the influencing factors we found,we put forward improvement suggestions and specific measures in Chapter 5.Chapter 6 ends up with the conclusion and prospect for future employee engagement studies.
