With the rapid development of society and economy, the material level has unprecedentedly increased, the pace of life is getting faster and faster, and the pressure of competition is also increasing. In this era, workers are facing tremendous work pressure and living pressure. It is becoming more and more prominent that overwork,as a potential threat to human health, also affects the healthy development of society. It is not only a simple personal problem,it has risen to the level of social problems that need to be solved. In view of the seriousness and harmfulness of the current overwork problem in our country, the mass media,as the "watch tower" of the society, shoulders the responsibility of social early warning. Therefore, the media presentation of the problem of overwork is a question worthy of study.Based on this, this article mainly takes the paper media related reports of overwork in Beijing from 2010 to 2019 as the research object, and obtains 513 samples of overwork reports. The survey samples are used to determine the basic analysis unit and category construction, and then use data statistics. The software conducts classified statistics on the research samples.Using frame theory and responsibility attribution theory as tools, using content analysis method and text analysis method, following the principle of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,to carry out the frame analysis and report responsibility attribution analysis of paper media overwork reports in Beijing. It mainly focuses on the following four aspects: what is the general status of paper media overwork reports in Beijing;what are the characteristics of the responsibility attribution framework of related reports;what are the shortcomings of existing reports;how to improve them. After research,it was found that in the past 10 years, the paper media in Beijing reported on the phenomenon of overwork, and the number of reports has fluctuated and fluctuated. The number of various types of news genres is more balanced. The reporting objects tend to be younger, the sources of information are diversified, the reporting purpose is mainly to inform the facts and reflect, and the emotional tone tends to be objective and neutral. In the reporting framework used by the media, the thematic framework uses more than the fragmented framework, stressing the social factors that cause the problem of overwork, and trying to find macro solutions from the social background, social system, social organization, etc.Because the external cause is more than the internal cause, the social attribution framework and socialgovernance framework are emphasized. As far as the media reports are concerned, there are still problems with homogenization of reporting content, lack of continuity of reporting, and patterning of reporting models. To this end,the media should pay attention to the diversification of narrative methods to enhance the humanistic care of reporting;Continuity and concentration have caused the issue of overwork to become a "daily" issue, which has caused audiences to continue to pay attention to this topic. At present, there are still few media reports on the phenomenon of overwork in China. The issue of overwork is included in the framework of frame theory for analysis. It aims to make up for the lack of domestic academic research and supplement and improve the research on the social phenomenon of overwork.Blank,to provide references for future research by scholars in academic research,to provide media workers with the right ideas in journalistic practice,to broaden the thinking of media workers, and to have practical guiding significance for future news production of overworked reports.
