On January 9,2007,the State Council promulgated the "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Further Strengthening the Protection of Ancient Books"(Guobanfa[2007] No.6),which carried out overall planning and deployment of the protection of ancient books across the country A nationwide ancient book protection campaign called the "Chinese Ancient Books Protection Plan" was in full swing.Driven by the tide of the times,in response to the actual needs of the protection of the ancient books in the library,Shenyang Normal University Library actively promoted the protection of the ancient books in the library,cooperated with the Liaoning Provincial Library,and with its help,established a library of ancient books,The Ancient Books Protection Center,which consists of two parts,the Small and Micro Ancient Books Restoration Room,is responsible for the daily management of ancient books in the library of Shenyang Normal University,the repair of damaged ancient books,the training of ancient book protection talents,and the responsibility of the ancient books service in the library.This article focuses on the research center of the Ancient Books Protection Center of Shenyang Normal University and is divided into four chapters.Chapter 1: Research on the construction background of the Ancient Books Protection Center of the Library of Shenyang Normal University.First of all,the historical background of the protection of ancient books and the "Chinese Ancient Books Protection Plan" are introduced.After the efforts of domestic ancient book storage institutions and universities at all levels,the protection of ancient books and the evolution of the library of Shenyang Normal University,the changes in the storage of ancient books,the books of Shenyang Normal University The status of the collection of ancient books in Liaoning Province The background of the establishment of these ancient book protection centers has cleared the timeline.In addition,research and integration of the national standards promulgated after the "Chinese Ancient Books Protection Plan" are conducted to pave the way for the selection of national standards suitable for the evaluation of ancient book protection centers.Chapter 2: Survey of the status quo of the construction of the Ancient Books Protection Center of the Library of Shenyang Normal University.From the development of the ancient book special collection library,small and micro ancient book restoration room,ancient book restoration and ancient book-related services,the current situation of the construction of the ancient book protection center in the library of Shenyang Normal University is outlined.Select the appropriate dimensions from the two national standards,"Basic Requirements for Standardized Construction of Removable Cultural Relics Protection and Restoration Room and Equipment"(GB / T 30238-2013)and "Basic Requirements for Libraries and AncientBooks"(GB / T 30227-2013),Compare and evaluate the ancient book collection library and small and micro ancient book restoration room under the ancient book protection center;briefly describe the ancient book restoration work carried out by the ancient book protection center and the ancient book related network construction,ancient book publishing,ancient book review and other ancient book daily service work.Chapter Three: Study the problems and deficiencies in the construction of Shenyang Normal University Library Ancient Books Protection Center.On the basis of fully understanding the work of the Ancient Books Protection Center of Shenyang Normal University,it pointed out the shortcomings of its work for the three aspects of the ancient book special collection library and the small and micro ancient book restoration room,ancient book restoration work,and ancient book digital resource construction.The collection of books,small and micro ancient book restoration rooms,ancient book restoration work,and the work of the ancient book protection center office all have problems such as low technological level and insufficient depth of work.Most of these problems are caused by the short history of the construction of the ancient book protection center of Shenyang Normal University,insufficient funds,and the lack of talents for the protection of ancient books.Chapter 4: Aiming at the problems of Shenyang Normal University Ancient Books Protection Center proposed in Chapter 3,we put forward countermeasures one by one.By cooperating with other ancient book storage institutions,borrowing equipment that cannot be purchased by the Ancient Book Protection Center,strengthening the exchange of ancient book restoration technology,and collaborating to create an ancient book digital resource library,etc.,to enhance the ancient book protection center's ancient book protection and reader service capabilities and deepen Self-building.From individual to general,we can see that the development of the protection of ancient books has entered the momentum of universities in depth,but the overall research on the protection of ancient books in college libraries is still relatively lacking,because the protection of ancient books in universities is still in its infancy.The library of Shenyang Normal University is one of the general colleges that carried out the protection of ancient books earlier.Its ancient book protection work and experience in the construction of the ancient book protection center will have a guiding and demonstrative role for later universities.This article believes that keeping in touch with the ancient book protection unit where the university is located and jointly cultivating talents,developing and utilizing the ancient books in the collection,based on the actual construction of the school's ancient book protection system,and conducting the school's ancient book census work methods can effectively improve the efficiency of the ancient book protection in colleges;International exchanges,ancient book protection research,school-enterprise cooperation,joint establishment of ancient book digital resource database and other work are the future directions of colleges anduniversities to protect ancient books.
