A Comparative Study Of Newspaper Media Reports In The "Huge Case"

The Huge case is an unjust case in the legal history of our country.On 9 April 1996,18-year-old Hugjiltu was identified as the murderer of the textile factory toilet woman and executed by the court on 10 June(62 days after the incident).In October 2005,Zhao zhihong was arrested and brought to trial,including the rape of a woman in a textile factory.Because of the official recognition and media coverage of the case has received social attention.Reports on the Huge case have also been published in various national media to varying degrees.However,during the 18 years from Hugjilt to Feng Zhiming who was tortured to extort confessions,there was no research on the connection between huge Case report and the idea of running a newspaper.Therefore,we adopt the literature content analysis method,statistical method and comparative method to promote the research on the connection between the content forms and the ideas of the party newspaper,city newspaper and industry newspaper about the report of "Hu Case".This is because the research on the connection between the content form of the report and the idea of the media in question can accurately explain the essence of cultural communication at the level of cultural values and provide lessons for the media.The thesis consists of introduction,main part(chapter 1,Chapter 2,Chapter 3)and conclusion.The first chapter,elaborated three kinds of seven reports the idea;The three party newspapers are People's Daily,the organ of the CPC Central Committee,and Inner Mongolia Daily,the organ of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,in Mongolian and Chinese versions.Three urban newspapers,including Hohhot Evening News with local characteristics,Northern New News with people's livelihood in Hohhot and Baotou,and Inner Mongolia Morning News with daily life in Inner Mongolia.Inner Mongolia Legal Daily,an industry newspaper providing legal publicity services for Inner Mongolia,etc.The second chapter analyzes the content and form of the newspaper report about "Huge Case".From April 9,1996,the first report,"Detective Story of April 9 Female Body Case",to October 19,2016,the last report,"Feng Zhiming sentenced to 18 years in the first trial",the three newspapers reported 83 reports in total.Reporting these reports from more to less of the newspaper order is the city newspaper,party newspaper,industry newspaper.The contents of the "Huge Case"report can be divided into 6 categories according to the article "Comparison of news reports between party newspapers and city newspapers in the Zhao Zuohai Case".The proportion of these 6 reports in the three newspapers is ranked from most to least as follows:case progress,work deployment,conclusion,beginning and end of the case,expert commentary,and case details.The distribution of the contents of the 18-year unjust case report reflects the scientificity of the fact that the case conforms to the facts.However,in the six reports,the development of cases,job deployment and expert interpretation of the report ranked in the first two and the fourth respectively in proportion.But the third most prominent of the six is the summary report.The four types of reports are most frequently reported in urban newspapers,but experts interpret the same proportion of reports in party newspapers and urban newspapers.The report forms related to "Huge Case" can be divided into four categories:report,in-depth report,comment and communication according to three books:"News Application Writing" edited by Wang Li,"News Interview and Writing" edited by Ding Baquan and "News Writing Handouts" edited by Cao Hui.The news and in-depth reports of the top two in terms of coverage were published in all three newspapers.But it was the metro newspaper that got the most coverage.Commentaries are only reported in party newspapers,newsletters in city newspapers.In particular,in-depth reports appeared in the three newspapers,but no in-depth reports related to the complexity of the three cases,such as"Huge Case",Zhao Zhihong case and Feng Zhiming case,were published.In the third chapter,the characteristics of the distribution of the content and form of the report related to "Huge Case" are criticized in connection with the idea of the newspaper.The metropolis daily played a vanguard role in reporting the Case.For example,Hohhot Evening News first reported that Inner Mongolia Morning Post reported the most,and the six kinds of reports were the most comprehensive and in-depth reports in urban newspapers.Party newspapers came second,excluding case details and newsletters.Party newspapers have commented on the superiority.The party newspaper's job deployment coverage is secondary to the metro and does not report newsletters in a different way.The trade paper reported four kinds of reports and news,in depth,apart from the details of the case and expert interpretation.If the experts interpret and comment on the report,it will make people feel scientifically reliable.When the media reported the Case,they mainly praised the report in the end of the retrial of the Case,which reflected judicial justice and legal progress.In the early stage and the whole process of the case,the in-depth report of the careful criticism of feng Zhiming was too little,which was the common shortcoming of the three newspapers.
