Museums are the cultural landscape of every country and city.In order to promote the healthy development of museums around the world,the International Council of Museums(ICOM)initiated and established May 18 as the International Museum Day.In recent years,China has issued a series of policies related to the development of cultural and creative industries of museums.Therefore,the cultural and creative design of museums has become a topic that museums pay close attention to.Under the background of the great concern of the public,it is urgent to effectively connect museum IP with creative design,so as to promote the win-win situation of cultural communication and industrial economy.When the cultural and creative industries enter the 3.0 era,the creative design of museums is no longer limited to the traditional product style,but needs to find an applicable way that not only conforms to the modern way of life and aesthetic consciousness,but also meets the needs of all parties in the market.The Palace Museum and Taipei Palace Museum,as pioneers and leaders of cultural and creative design of domestic museums,have driven the new development of cultural and creative design of domestic museums.This project mainly took the Palace Museum on both sides of the strait as the objects of comparative study.The first chapter compared and elaborated the three basic conditions of the two museums,that is,the historical development,architectural environment,and collections of books;The second chapter,based on the comparison of the development stage of cultural creation,cultural creation development of product and marketing,this paper further summarized the related problems existing in the development of cultural creation of the Palace Museum on both sides of the strait;The third chapter focused on the research of the classic cultural and creative products cases of the Palace Museum on both sides of the strait to sum up the specific design and development of the cultural creative products of the two museums,based on their same series,kinds,themes and similar exhibits;The fourth chapter,based on the above research and combined with the cultural and creative products design of well-known museums at home and abroad,summerized five applicable methods for cultural and creative products design,including the narrative application of cultural elements,the representation of the integration of emotional empathy,combined with multiple resources to play its role,the organic combination of multiple forms and the penetration of situational science and technology.Meanwhile,it summed up the corresponding design strategies for different levels of collection;The fifth chapter started from the present situation of the development of cultural and creative industries of museums in Nanjing area,and combined with the practice of cultural and creative products design of the Oriental Metropolitan Museum to put forward the development direction for museums in Nanjing in terms of cultural and creative products,namely IP-based,life-oriented,regionalized,matrixed and integrated methods.
