"The Palace Museum Weekly"issued by the Palace Museum during the period of the Republic of China was initially published in October 1929,and stopped in April 1936,which lasted nearly seven years,a total of 510 periodicals.The weekly covers the topics mainly on the the boutique stored in the Palace Museum,:including ancient calligraphy,painting,architecture and antiques;it also published various research monographs and Literature Historical Archives of Ming and Qing Dynasties,regarded as relatively complete painting and calligraphy weekly,with its unique value.However,the content needs to be systematically classified and summarized.Therefore,the author selects the"The Palace Museum Weekly"as the research object,using literature research method,statistical method,combination method and analysis method,comparative research method,and discusses the"The Palace Museum Weekly",respectively in four parts.The first chapter.is about the origin of"The Palace Museum Weekly,elaborating the background and its editor--Wu Ying;the second chapter illustrates the running conditions,layout design and publishing.;the third chapter is the key point of this thesis,mainly on the weekly publication of historical content classification and statistical analysis,to summarize the main achievements of this weekly in the period of the Republic of China;the fourth chapter includes the weekly characteristic,the literature value and important effects,compared with other publications of the same period,further explaining its uniqueness and its importance of guiding Chinese traditional.
