Application Of 100G OTN Technology In Backbone Network Transmission System

With the rapid development of the Internet,the transmission network is gradually developing towards IP direction;especially the requirements on the transmission bandwidth and rate are higher.Currently,broadband services mainly include broadband video services,IPTVservices,base station backhaul networks,and data metropolitan area network.In addition,they have higher requirements on the capacity,rate,reliability,and flexible demultiplexing of the transmission bearer network.The traditional transmission technologies cannot meet the rapid development requirements of the current transmission network,especially in the limitations of channel scheduling,protection,and management.The new-generation optical transmission network OTN technology fully utilizes the advantages of optical domain and electrical domain signal processing,and is the best choice for transmitting large-bandwidth services,providing large-capacity and highly transparent transmission capabilities and carrier-class service protection.It is the focus of current transmission network research and application.Starting from the background of the generation of OTN technology,the principle of OTN technology,the architecture of OTN network,and the main technical standards of OTN,this paper introduces the networking mode,mapping structure and protection technology of OTN system,analyzes and gives the networking planning scheme of NingXia telecom secondary trunk OTN system.At the same time,the paper also studies the main technology index testing of OTN,network protection and other technologies.Based on the theoretical analysis,the specific design scheme is given in combination with the practical project of NingXia telecom.
