Optical transmission network(OTN)is a new type of transmission network with new structure.As the key technologies of the current all-optical network has not been mature so far,OTN could use existing photoelectric technology to build transmission network.It can achieve large capacity of networking,and it is also widely used in the transmission of metropolitan area core network and trunk network.Optical transmission network communication simulation test system can be used for simulating OTN network structure,and testing large scale integrated systems.By use the system,the tester can test large-scale integrated network element,and simulate the network element machine disc function,behavior and operation mechanism of the Ethernet optical communication equipment.This system can be used to test the optical control plane of intelligent optical network communication network live.This thesis is a design summary of the process of domestic telecommunication core equipment software project.The functions of the proposed project are to simulation OTN photovoltaic cross-connect device function and behavior,to establish the communication connection between simulate system and intelligent optical network and to test network performance of the intelligent optical network.The software structure of networking of optical communicate equipment has a generally standardized modular structure,including disk management software,network management system software and network management software.The proposed design of OTN optical communication simulation system combines the function of disk management software and network element management software,integrate the original system and expands more application functions.The proposed simulation system also provides an application function based on java graphical network topology,which can be used to set up a virtual topology to simulate equipment operation and communication of network management,and to test large-scale integrated operation.The system can save the operation process of the topology into a script file,which makes the software mechanisms easy to reference and graft.And the system also supports multiple test for the control platform of intelligent optical network by a simulated mechanism,which could not only makes the stability testing for intelligent optical network more easy,but also makes the expand and upgrade of the network more convenient.Besides,the program design scheme of this software system is based on Java language structure,which could provide good cross-platform portability.In practice use,the optical communication simulation test system designed in this paper has passed through the general software functional testing,which ensure that the functions of the software system meet the design requirements.System test results show that the operation interface is more simply and efficient,the reliable testing mechanism is more stable and reliable.And the proposed test system also provides more operating functions at the same time.It can be widely used in OTN network testing.
