Automated Testing Of Optical Network Transmission Equipment

The enterprise's input of the development of the optical network transmission equipment is increasing gradually. It consists of two reasons. On the one hand, the costs of manufacturing new products are increasing; on the other hand, we should support more features of the product according to the new requirement so that the consumption of human and material resources and time are also increasing. Nowadays, we are following the philosophy "low-cost high-yield". So it becomes a big problem that how to save the test cost. At present, automation test is the main way to solve this problem.Automation Test System means that under the circumstances that the least interference of people, tests automatically, and processes the test data, outputs the result in a proper way and records it. The entire test procedure usually works automatically according to the prepared test cases.The full content of this text are divided into seven parts: the first part of the thesis introduces the background and the arrangement; the second part introduces the optical network protocols and standards; the third part introduces the theoretical framework of automation test of the optical network transmission equipments; the fourth part describes the assessment of the automation test of the optical network transmission equipments; the fifth section describes the realization of the automation test system for optical network transmission equipments; the sixth part introduces the software implementation of the optical network transmission equipments; the last part is my individual opinion on optical network transmission equipment automation test.
