The Cause And Response Of "reverse News" In The New Media Environment

With the continuous innovation of communication technology,the media environment has undergone earth-shaking changes.The diversification of media carrier also makes it more convenient for the audience to spread and release information,which intensifies the frequent occurrence of reverse news and attracts the attention of more and more journalists and industry scholars.As an abnormal phenomenon,reversal news is usually social news with strong topical nature,which can hit the nerve pain point of the audience and trigger the trend of public opinion.This paper takes the new media environment as the context,selects ten typical reversal news,and makes a detailed analysis of "reversibility news" by using relevant theories of journalism and communication and corresponding research methods.The second part mainly discusses the reasons behind the emergence of reversibility news,respectively from three aspects of technology,media and audience.From the perspective of technology,it is the factors such as fragmented reading and low access threshold of information.From the perspective of media,it is the "gatekeeper" of media who weakens and caters to agenda setting.From the standpoint of the public,it is the irrational emotional catharsis of the public and the lack of media literacy,which link together to promote the emergence of reverse news.The third part points out the negative effect of “reversibility news”.It damages the credibility and authority of the media,wastes social resources,and at the same time consumes the public's time and energy to stimulate social contradictions.In the fourth part,it is necessary to take corresponding measures to avoid the causes and remedy of news reversal.This paper mainly starts from five aspects of technology,media,audience,rule of law and rule of law,so as to provide references for reporting and public opinion guidance in the new media era.
