Paul Levinson,an American scholar,calls the second generation of media on the Internet,such as blogs and wikis,'new new media'.The emergence of new media brings the mass carnival in the new media environment.Chinese authority of media has been disintegrated,and the voice of the public and internet users is transmitted on the keyboard.The dramatic reversal of news reports and the rapid turn of public opinion are common.Reversibility news has attracted public and academic attention since 2013.Although there is no uniform definition of it,The research on 'Reversibility news'has become an important corner in the field of news communication.The frequent occurrence of reversibility news has attracted the attention of journalists and scholars.As a news phenomenon,it has many unique features.It's generally a very topical social news,which can hurt people's sensitive nerves,and stir up the tide of public opinion.News reports are labeled and induced;events are conflicting;public opinion reversed and accompanied by Internet violence.All of this makes the reversibility news different from the general news.Although reversibility news is not the product of the new media environment,in the traditional media period,it is mainly a part of self-correcting of the mainstream media.In the new media environment,reversibility news is mainly due to the revision of the audience and the fact,showing new features,and with the reversal of public opinion.From the dramatic reversal of 'man beating female driver' to the netizen who was fooled by the 'Cheat donate of Luo er',The reversibility news increasingly highlights the subversion of news report and public opinion.This paper analyzes 25 cases of reversibility news,uses the relevant theories of journalism and communication,to explore the basic characteristics and propagation path of reverse news.Based on this,the paper explores the causes and strategies of reversibility news,and provides reference for news reports and public opinion guidance.Reversibility news has the general characteristics of social topic,subjectivity tagging,induction of reporting,conflict and violence of public opinion.Its transmission path is generally 'news source--first news--propagation of media--fermentation of public opinion--news reversal--public opinion competition'.Each stage of this process embodies the new features.The reason and countermeasure of reversibility news are also tractable in this path.From the perspective of sources,the primary reason for reversibility news are the the dominant position of network source and lacking of verification.From the perspective of news reporting,The frequent occurrence of reversibility news is the result of the lack of news professionalism.From the perspective of the audience and public opinion,it is inseparable from stereotype and audience media literacy.From the media environment,the new media environment provides favorable soil for the frequency of reversibility news.Reversibility news has dual social attributes.It constantly consumes the credibility of the media,harms the news client,so it is not conducive to social stability and the construction of public reason.But it is also a deep excavation of the truth,and it is a 'pressure-relief valve' for public mood.It is the main purpose of the research to reversibility news to evaluate it correctly and avoid its adverse effects.
