Research On The Construction Of Characteristic Collections In Libraries Of Newly-built Undergraduate Colleges In Jiangsu Province

The popularization of higher education in Jiangsu has shown a good trend of continuous deepening,which has led to the emergence of new undergraduate colleges in the area.From the actual situation of the development of these colleges and universities,they are constantly developing and growing,and gradually become the new force to promote the development of higher education in Jiangsu.But in the new era of knowledge updating and information technology change,the advantage of the library's own collection of rich service in the reader is weakening.The value of the new university library can not be measured effectively by the size and breadth of the library it owns,but it is provided by the teachers and students.The information ability is measured,therefore,this requires the new university library in Jiangsu province to move towards the characteristic direction under the premise of its own scale,and the construction of the characteristic collection is one of the aspects.In the process of investigation and study,this paper uses literature research,network survey,SWOT analysis method to study the construction of characteristic library collection of Newly-built Undergraduate Colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province.It is divided into the following parts: The first part is the introduction part of this paper,which plays a role of leading the full text.The second part analyzes the basic theories of newly established universities and special collections.The third part investigates the current situation of characteristic collection construction in Newly-built Undergraduate University Libraries in Jiangsu Province,including quantity distribution,theme distribution,literature type and regional distribution.The fourth part makes a SWOT analysis of the characteristic collection construction of newly established undergraduate libraries in Jiangsu province.The fifth part analyzes the optimization strategy of the characteristic collection construction in the Newly Established Undergraduate Library of Jiangsu province.
