| Advocating nationwide reading and building a society of books has been written into the government work report for five consecutive years since 2014.This ensures the citizens' basic cultural rights,enhances the quality of national civilization and enhances the national cultural innovation ability from the strategic height of the country's overall situation.At present,all provinces are actively exploring the road of "Book Society" in line with their own development rules,and Jiangsu province also speeds up the layout.This paper studies the status,problems and coping strategies of the promotion process of the national reading work in Jiangsu province.Through the comprehensive use of literature research,case analysis,comparative research,interview and so on,the paper studies the construction of "Shu Xiang Jiangsu".Through a series of information retrieval,a large number of periodical papers and communication reports were obtained.On the basis of a series of relevant academic works,the relevant policies and regulations issued by the country and the local authorities were closely linked with the network literature of the experts' comments and analysis.Through the integration of these documents,we can obtain first-hand information and deduce it.In the analysis and induction of several parts,the author tries to connect the theory with the reality,and the related treatises are closely linked to the specific cases and measures presented by the Jiangsu province to promote the whole people's reading process,so that both the analysis and the proposed proposals can be supported,and the persuasiveness is increased.While paying attention to the construction of Shu Xiang Jiangsu,through the horizontal comparison between home and abroad,domestic and foreign and the longitudinal contrast analysis in different periods,the characteristics of Jiangsu region and the characteristics of the times are highlighted,and the experience of reading and construction of the whole people in other areas is made up and the Jiangsu model is promoted.The full text has systematically combed the exploration and practice of Jiangsu in the process of promoting the whole people's reading,and summed up the interaction between government departments,libraries,publishing houses,schools and bookstores,and the interaction benefits with readers:through the opening of rich and upgrading of the elderly and the disabled groups,improve the sense of participation and gain of the various subjects,and guide the readers to develop good.Good reading habits,promoting the establishment and improvement of reading grading,and relying on the evaluation index system of "scholarly Jiangsu" to quantify the progress of work.In order to provide universal value and reference for the construction of scholarly society in other provinces in China.Considering the weak foundation of Jiangsu's universal reading promotion work,it is suggested that readers should keep tolerance
