Research On The Construction Of Think Tanks In Chinese Academic Libraries

With the continuous development of the social economy,the party and the government need the participation of think tanks to cope with new problems arising in the process of state governance.In recent years,the state has attached great importance to the construction of think tanks in universities and has issued a series of policies to support its development.In 2015,the “Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of New Types of Think Tanks with Chinese Characteristics” issued by the State Council clearly stated that “promoting the development of think tanks in universities”.Under the new information environment,university libraries have gradually transformed from traditional service libraries to research libraries.The traditional methods of borrowing and reserving services have been broken,and they have gradually begun to participate in the construction of local think tanks,the construction of institutional libraries,and the services of disciplines.The problem of service changes.In the newly revised "Regulations for the Library of Ordinary Colleges and Universities","the provision of strong think tank support for the society" was also proposed.While participating in the think tank service,university libraries have gradually acquired the ability to build think tanks.This paper is based on the rapid development of new think tanks and the transformation of university library services.This paper consists of six parts.The first part mainly summarizes the background,significance,present situation and methods of the research.The second part discusses the necessity and feasibility of the construction of the think tank of the university library,and analyzes the content and characteristics of the think tank construction of the university library.The third part expounds the connotation of the function positioning of university library,and explores the function positioning of the think tank of university library based on the positioning theory.The fourth part analyzes the current situation of the construction of think tanks in Chinese college libraries,and proposes the main problems existing.The fifth part is aimed at the current problems,suggested improvement suggestions are proposed.The sixth part is a summary of the full text and a prospect for future research.
