A Hotel IT Governance Practice Research Based On COBIT Framework

With the gradual development of the tourism economy,especially the introduction of the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for National Tourism Informatization”,the tourism industry has also entered a new process.Information technology relies on the Internet,strategy,and the Internet of Things to form a new economic model.It also brings new impacts and development opportunities for hotel industry informatization.Informatization has become the cornerstone of hotel development.Hotel informatization construction is not a simple investment and construction business subsystem.IT informatization construction is only the initial stage of informatization.The important thing is that the integration of IT management and business management after the completion of the construction and problems in the business strategy and IT strategy Urgently decisive.Many management problems are also increasingly exposed in the domestic hotel industry.IT governance,as an institutional arrangement for weighing the interests of all parties,can effectively integrate business strategy and IT strategy from planning and design,improve IT management capabilities,and ultimately improve the hotel's Competitiveness.This article mainly uses the literature survey,the experience summary and the case analysis method,based on the COBIT model to describe and analyze the current informationization status and problems of A hotel.In combination with A Hotel's strategic plan,using SWOT analysis and CSF method to determine the A hotel IT strategic objectives,and the specific implementation.Implementation of the system integration method as a carrier to achieve the information system integration,IT standards construction,IT service quality management,and ultimately developed a business system suitable for the A hotel strategic development,with the ability to meet the current business development while retaining the late business expansion Capacity,from the framework to meet the business strategy of the later period,and summarized the key factors in the implementation process,with a view to our country hotel industry in the information age to meet the challenges of international hotel groups,and provide a reference for leap-forward development.
