Research And Application Of XML-Based Data Integration System

An XML-based data integration system is proposed to overcome the disadvantages of the traditional heterogenous information systems in querying global data, using information and manipulating historical data. This meets the demand of every level management in organization' s data. The system combines the advantages of some other Projects based on XML. Two kinds of method, the virtual data integration and the physical data integration, are used.The virtual data integration uses XML Schema and XQuery as the common data mode1 and global query language, and presents an XQuery decomposition algorithm and supports the integration of relational sources, XML sources through the Query decomposition and Schema mapping.The Operational Data Store (ODS) based on XML is used in physical data integration.
