Research And Application Of The Data Integration Technology In The Power System

The goal of a data integration platform is to provide a uniform interface to a multitude of data sources. Using the interface users don't need to consider the problem about model heterogeneity, data extracting and combination, etc..This paper discusses the issue of integrating power system data using XML based on extensive analysis and research work. It is focus on the problems related with heterogeneous data schema and query processing in power system domain. We design the data integration platform framework based on analysis and comparing the existent data integration methods and the characteristics of architecture. Meanwhile, we discuss the main technologies.The significance of this paper is to implement the XML format views of RDBMS, and design a platform framework to provide a uniform query service for heterogeneous data sources. Our work can be used to build a uniform data accessing infrastructure in power system domain.
