Under the background of the new media era,various Internet products are competing for development.There are more and more ways for the audience to receive information.As one of the most commonly used media,mobile news client occupies a place in the Internet with its many types,rich content and easy reading.However,in the mobile news client market,the portal news client and the content aggregation news client launched by portals and Internet companies are far ahead in terms of user size,download volume and brand influence,and traditional media The category news client except for Phoenix News and Surging News ranked among the best in terms of user activity,and the rest were mediocre.As a traditional media client,how to form a competitive advantage in the mobile news market,make the best use of it and avoid its shortcomings is highly worth exploring.The research object of this paper is Global TIME client,which belongs to the traditional media news client.It plays an important role in the dissemination of major news at home and abroad,especially the international news.But at the same time,it also has its own defects,which hinders its better development.User stickiness is an important index to research Internet products.This article takes Global TIME client as the research object,explores its user stickiness from the perspective of communication science,and uses case analysis,literature research and comparative analysis to explore and try From the perspective of communication,it finds out the factors that affect the stickiness of TIME clients around the world and puts forward the development strategy of enhancing the stickiness of users.It provides reference and reflection for the development of TIME clients and other traditional media news clients.The main contents of this paper include four parts:the first part,the introduction,the research background and the significance of the topic,the research content and method,the research status and the innovation point.The second part,the mobile news client and the user stickiness,the definition,characteristics,classification and development status of the mobile news client and the development status as well.The concept and formation mechanism of user stickiness are introduced.The third part,the stickiness analysis of Global TIME users,first of all,after defining the standard of the user stickiness,the data analysis of the Global TIME client is carried out,and the basic information about the stickiness of the user is obtained.After that,it explores the communication factors that affect the stickiness of its users,and analyzes the four aspects of the communication subject,the content of communication,the mode of communication and the object of communication;the fourth part,the problem of global TIME and the method of enhancing the stickiness of the users,this part mainly adopts the method of comparative analysis to make the client of universal TIME and surging new A comparison is made between the client side,today's headlines and NetEase news.On this basis,the problems existing in the Global TIME client are presented,and the problems of poor interaction,single news recommendation and the monotonous design of page vision are found.Then,in view of the problems that appear,the development strategy of strengthening the stickiness of its users is put forward from three aspects:enhancing socializing and realizing interactivity;taking the user as the core,improving the user experience,strengthening the interface design and improving the visual experience.
