The state-compiled Chinese textbooks of junior high school reflect the latest educational concepts,attach importance to the cultivation of core literacy,and implement the fundamental tasks of fostering characters and civic virtues.Classical Chinese reading-supporting system in the state-compiled Chinese textbook of junior high school is an important part of Chinese textbooks as well as the focus and difficulty of teaching.When learning classical Chinese,students often worry about the difficulty of it and can't have a good comprehension.Classical Chinese reading-supporting system is the bond between the editors and the teachers and students as well as the bridge between the teachers and the students.The reading-supporting system of classical Chinese includes unit introductions,previews,reading tips,book notes,after-school exercises,after-school materials and so on.The contents of classical Chinese reading-supporting system are reflected in the teaching,and implemented in the course standard.The use of classical Chinese reading-supporting system can help teachers establish and complete the teaching objectives,making the classroom more efficient.It can also help students understand and be clear about what they have learned,improve their ability to learn independently,promote their ability of critical thinking,and make learning more efficient.This paper is mainly composed of four parts:The introduction part mainly expounds not only the research background and significance of the classical Chinese reading-supporting system but also the system's related concepts.Besides,this part also summarizes the research status of the classical Chinese reading-supporting system in the Chinese textbook.This paper uses three kinds of ways which include questionnaires,literature analysis and text analysis to help study the classical Chinese.The first chapter is the classification and value research of the classical Chinese reading-supporting system in the state-compiled Chinese textbook of junior high school.First of all,the paper divides the classical Chinese reading-supporting system into five categories which are hints,notes,images,exercises and materials.Meanwhile,the paper sets examples to illustrate the contents which are contained in these five categories.Secondly,it clarifies that the classical Chinese reading-supporting system has the value which reflects the student-centered teaching idea,helps teachers to achieve their teaching objectives in the class and is conductive to improve students' abilities of critical thinking.In the second chapter,a questionaire survey about the classical Chinese reading-supporting system was carried out among junior high school students who are using state-compiled Chinese textbooks.The result of data is analyzed in this chapter.Based on the survey data,the writer finds out the problems faced by teachers and students in the process of using classical Chinese reading-supporting system.The problems mainly include their neglect of integrity,the constraint of stereotypes and their focus on out-of-class materials and overlook on in-class materials.The writer also analyzes that the problems' main reasons are the lack of a comprehensive understanding of reading-supporting system,the lack of teachers' guidance,the deficiency of students' initiative and the emphasis on the utilitarian of teaching objectives.In the third chapter,the writer provides the related suggestions according to the problems occuring in using the classical Chinese reading-supporting system in the state-compiledChinese textbook of junior high school.The writer puts forward that the teachers and the students should set up the correct view of textbook firstly in order to improve the awareness of using classical Chinese reading-supporting system.Then,they should utilize the classical Chinese reading-supporting system flexibly and resonably which includes accumulating notional and function words,paying attention on the relevance of the system and extending the knowledge structure of students.Finally,teachers need lay emphasis on developing students' abilities of critical thinking in the process of using textbooks so that the students' abilities to solve the problems can be improved.
