Accompanied by the all-round economic and social development and the continuous improvement of people's life,people's yearning for a better life and their demand for education,culture and art become more urgent and diversified.In the face of the inherent needs of the people and many students for art and art education,school art education cannot meet the growing trend in both scale and form.Social art education arises spontaneously and flourishes everywhere.Demand is the soil of social art education,and demand is the driving impetus for the development of social art education.As an important carrier of social art education,social art training institutions are springing up and scaling as soon as they come into being.At present,social art training institutions have become a breakthrough in the reform and development of art education,an important constituent part of national cultural construction,and an important aspect of social harmony and human all-round development.This paper focuses on the research on the training mode of social art training institutions in urban area of Xi'an,analyzes the foundation of the formation of social art training institutions from two aspects of national policy and social demand by virtue of literature research method,combs the three stages of the first step,development and rapid development of social art training institutions from the Perspective of history,and investigates the current situation of social art training in urban are of Xi'an from three aspects of spatial distribution,economy,and historical and cultural background.In accordance with the characteristics of social art training institutions,four forms of running schools are summed up: run by social individuals,run by children's palace,run by musical instrument store and run by relying on colleges and universities running schools.According to these four forms of running schools,the representative art training institutions in urban area of Xi'an city are selected to carry out the case analysis,analyze their characteristics and training modes,and summarize their common characteristics.From this,several functions of social art training mode are obtained:first,to enrich students' extracurricular activities and improve their art skills;second,to provide students with art practice platform;third,to provide students with probation,entrepreneurship and employment platform.In the meantime,at the end of the paper,the problems of social art training institutions are put forward,such as the hidden danger of "technology" rather than "element" in terms of training content and form,inappropriate arrangement of curriculum organization structure,low level of systematization ofmanagement mechanism,etc.As a consequence,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
