Research On Mao Wei's Ci And Zaju

Mao Wei was a famous scholar in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty.He wrote a lot,with 100 words and 8 kinds of zaju.This paper will mainly study Maowei's Ci and zaju,and based on the text of his Ci and zaju,explore the integration between his Ci and drama.The first chapter mainly combs Maowei's youth,middle-aged and old life,re integrates his imperial examination experience on the basis of the existing literature,and explores his talents and upright feelings benefiting from family inheritance and literati social association.The second chapter studies Maowei words.According to the theme,his Ci can be divided into boudoir Ci,record Lyric Ci,free answer Ci and object chanting CI for in-depth analysis.The third chapter studies Maowei's lingxiage zaju.This paper discusses the themes of history,seclusion,immortals and customs,analyzes the images of emperors and loyal officials,seclusion scholars,unrestrained scholars and romantic scholars,explores the setting of drama conflicts from the three text structures of four fold,three fold and single fold,and reveals the system characteristics of both inheritance and breakthrough of Maowei zaju.The fourth chapter mainly studies the interaction between Maowei's Ci and drama,and analyzes the integration of his Ci and drama in tune,language and image.
