Yuan Zaju is a peak in the history of Chinese opera.As an indispensable part of the Yuan Zaju system,Kejie is not only the foundation of opera literature,but also an important guide for opera stage performance."Thirty Kinds of Zaju in the Yuan Period" is recognized by the academic circles as the earliest extant edition of Yuan Zaju,and it is also the only one published in the Yuan Dynasty."Selected Songs of the Yuan Dynasty",also known as "Hundred Varieties of Songs in Yuan Dynasty",compiled by Zang Maoxun during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,is the most popular and most influential selection of Yuan operas in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.This article mainly takes the Yuan Zaju included in the two Yuan Zaju anthologies,"Thirty Varieties of Yuankan Zaju" and "Yuanqu Selected" as the research scope.The numbers are sorted into a table,which serves as the basis of this article’s research.The main text is based on the comparison of the number and types of academic introductions in the two Yuan Zaju versions of "Thirty Varieties of Yuan Kan Zaju" and "Yuan Qu Xuan",according to the expression forms and characteristics of Yuan Zaju in these two Yuan and Ming editions.The similarities and differences of Yuan Zaju,further explore the characteristics of Yuan Zaju intermediary,as well as its literary function and artistic effect.At the same time,the evolution of the script form of Yuan Zaju from the Yuan Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty can also be glimpsed by comparing the differences between "Thirty Kinds of Zaju in the Yuan Period" and "Selected Songs of the Yuan Dynasty".The introduction mainly introduces the current academic research on Yuan Zaju’s introduction,summarizes its contributions and the unpublished areas,and uses this as the academic background of the research in this article,intending to make further expansion in the field of Yuan Zaju’s introduction.The first chapter first sorts out the action performance in the drama form before the Yuan Dynasty Zaju,and finds that the action performance is a continuous development with the development of the opera.In addition,it also summarizes the specific conditions of the scientific introductions in "Thirty Kinds of Zaju of the Yuan Dynasty" and "Yuan Qu Xuan",and the types and numbers of the academic introductions in the two journals are statistically attached to the end of the article as a summary of the thesis.The discussion provides a textual basis for further explanation.The second chapter classifies the scientific introductions in "Thirty Kinds of Miscellaneous Dramas of the Yuan Dynasty" and "Selected Works of Yuanqu".There are six common categories in these two anthologies.Then step into the research on the role of Yuan Zaju’s introduction.After fully understanding the similarities,differences and characteristics of Kejie between "Thirty Varieties of Yuankan Zaju" and "Yuanqu Selected",this chapter basically summarizes the functions of Kejie into four aspects,shaping the image of characters and promoting The plot development,the addition of comedy effects,and the creation of the scene and atmosphere of the stage performances,starting from these four functional representations,explore how Yuan Zaju realizes these functions through scientific introduction.The third chapter compares the differences between "Thirty Varieties of Yuanqu Zaju" and "Yuanqu Selected" from the three aspects of category,quantity,and expression of "ke".The characteristics of each of the two opera anthologies.The introduction of "Thirty Kinds of Zaju of the Yuan Dynasty" showed omission and simplicity,and the introduction of "Selected Songs of the Yuan Dynasty" showed the characteristics of stage and narration.The fourth chapter explores the reasons for the difference between "Thirty Varieties of Zaju in the Yuan Dynasty" and "Selected Songs of the Yuan Dynasty".The change of Kejie is not only a manifestation of the changes in the development background of Yuan and Ming operas,but also implies a change in the concepts of Yuan and Ming operas.It is also the result of the gradual maturation of the dramatic forms of Yuan and Ming operas.The main research object of this article is "Thirty Varieties of Yuan Dynasty Zaju" and "Yuanqu Selected Works".It compares and analyzes the introduction of Yuan Zaju in these two anthologies,and summarizes the Yuan Zaju courses embodied in them.To understand and evaluate the role and value of the introduction of Yuan Zaju,reflect on the relationship between the introduction and performance of Yuan Zaju,and further explore the deep level of the difference between "Thirty Varieties of Yuan Dynasty Zaju" and "Yuanqu Selected" The reason is to think about the influence and reference significance of Yuan Zaju’s introduction to stage performances in the development of Yuan and Ming Dynasties. |
